    1. 2017

      Establishment

      Abu-Rayyan Academy is established in January 2017 by Dr. Abdirazack Yussuf Abdinur and Madam Salatha Mohammed, starting with just 3 students in Nyali, Mombasa.

    2. 2017

      First Graduation

      The first graduation ceremony is held in December 2017 with 3 graduates, marking the beginning of a tradition of excellence.

    3. 2018–2022

      Growth & Relocation

      The academy grows rapidly, expanding its student body and staff, and relocates to Ronald Ngala Road, opposite Petro Gas Station, to accommodate increasing enrollment.

    4. 2023

      Modern Facilities

      Introduction of modern facilities including ICT and science labs, multi-purpose halls, and a canteen, supporting holistic education.

    5. 2024

      Current Status

      Now serving over 300 students with 20+ staff, Abu-Rayyan Academy is recognized for its commitment to quality education, Islamic values, and innovation in Mombasa.
